What a insane season this year. It started very slow snow wise, Or maybe I was just a little spoiled from last season. With a total of 538" of snow all season so far, Majority of it coming in the last two months. Private Reserve was my go to for the season as well as others I'm sure. A massive thank you to all the Ski Patrollers who were out every morning getting runs ready, And Lift Ops for keeping those chairs spinning. Keep a eye out anyone looking to be going into the backcountry this year, The snowpack is very fragile with the variation of snow we've had this season. I spoke with some of the local patrollers this year and they think it will be alright as long as you are fully equipped with proper gear and have knowledge of your route before you head out. One thing for sure is I will definitely be hiking for some turns this season just have to double the caution. That is all for now hope everyone is staying safe out there and enjoying the snow!!
